Polish Women Demonstrate Against Abortion Law In Poland

BRUSSELS, BELGIUM - OCTOBER 28 : Polish, mainly Women, demonstrate in front of the Polish Representation to the European Union against the new restriction on abortion law in Poland on October 28, 2020 in Brussels, Belgium. Poland's highest court ruled Thursday that abortions due to fetal defects are unconstitutional, moving the country towards a near-total ban on terminations and sparking angry protests in the capital Warsaw.The nation, which already had some of the strictest abortion laws in Europe, will now only allow the procedure in cases of rape, incest or when the mother's life in danger.
