JUL 26 1951 Mercedes Jaramillo, 19, is crowned " Miss Denver" by Manager of Safety Harold MacArthur at Elitch Gardens Wednesday night. Miss Jaramillo was selected to represent Denver in the "Miss Colorado" contest, the winner of which will carry the state banner into the " Miss America" contest in Atlantic City, N.J.
