BEIJING, CHINA: Russia's former World number one Marat Safin, who is recovering from an injury, talks to the press during a ceremony in Beijing 25 November 2003, to kick off the inaugural 500,000-dollar China Open tennis tournament in Beijing next September. The tournament, which has a 10-year agreement with the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), will initially be staged at the China Open Tennis Center but will eventually move to the Beijing Olympics tennis venue.
