Father and Son search near Ulverston

The body of the 51-year-old man, who has not been named, was found at Bardsea, in an area of sandbanks and mud flats about two kilometres from the high water mark at Bardsea. The search for the pair started yesterday afternoon when the father made a frantic 999 call saying he and his son were lost on the beach in swirling fog and facing a fast-incoming tide.The search for the missing boy was continuing.
