Senator Donnelly press statement on Buy America amendment to defense bill
Indiana Senator Joe Donnelly says at a regular weekly press briefing that a number of jobs in his state have been shipped overseas, including from companies like Carrier, set to lay off more before Christmas. Donnelly describes meeting a National Guardsman at Carrier, suggesting the federal contracts go to companies that invest in America, to be offered as an amendment to the fiscal 2018 defense authorization. Donnelly says tax reform is an opportunity to grow the economy that could report that Guardsman.
