Vancouver Spanish Sunrise Timelapse with two anchored cargo ships in the distance - stock video

- This is a rare and beautiful clear-sky winter sunrise on English Bay in Vancouver as viewed from the beach at Spanish Banks on Vancouver's affluent west-side. In the foreground, the crescent shaped erosion-control point of logs and boulder is licked by small waves. As the sun rises, shadows draw across the beach head, and off in the distance two anchored cargo ships mingle in the current. On the horizon, the snow capped peaks of Tetrahedron Peak rise above light puffs of smoke from the Port Melon pulp mill. Gambier Island, Bowen Island, and the west reaches of West Vancouver are identified by Lighthouse Park with its old growth forest.
