Denmark - Mön Island - Megalithic site
15 August 2025, Denmark, Borre: Sömarkedyssen, also known as Sömarke dolmen, is a megalithic site from the Stone Age around 3,400 BC on the island of Mön on the Baltic Sea. Under the large capstone of Mön's most famous dolmen, there is an octagonal chamber with a short passageway. The capstone of the passage is famous for its 445 small bowls, which probably date back to the Bronze Age. Photo: Patrick Pleul/dpa (Photo by Patrick Pleul/picture alliance via Getty Images)
