(Original Caption) Bachelor Prime Minister Pierre Elliot Trudeau, 51, married 22 year old Margaret Sinclair in a quiet ceremony 3/4/71. A spokesman for the Prime Minister said Trudeau and Miss Sinclair were married in a private ceremony at St. Stevens Roman Catholic Church in North Vancouver. Only members of their families were present. Miss Sinclair is the daughter of James Sinclair who was Minister of Fisheries in the Government of former Louis St. Laurent. This photo was taken October 31, 1969 as they danced at a National Art Gallery ball in Ottawa.
