Orson Welles in Costume
(Original Caption) Betty Grable breaks up when she sees co-star Orson Welles in costume for the first time as she and Welles rehearse at CBS Television City in Hollywood. They will be seen as Oscar Jaffe, the "mad Broadway and Hollywood producer" and as "Lily Garland, Hollywood movie star," in Ford Star Jubilee's presentation of the stage and movie hit, Twentieth Century. Welles wears the elderly lady's costume in order to evade a process server and to be able to board the "Twentieth Century Limited." The Ford Star Jubilee program is Saturday, April 8th.
