Ted Williams @ End Of Baseball Swing
(Original Caption) 8/11/1941-Boston, MA- Showing no signs of any let-up in his league-leading batting spree, Terrific Ted Williams, who protects his .410 batting average the way the RAF protects the British coast, belts one almost out of Fenway Park for a triple in the eight inning of the first game of yesterday's double-header with the Senators. Senators catcher Al Evans and Umpire Grieve watch the prodigious clout. Red Sox won, 7-6, but dropped the night-cap.
