Durham Lumiere Lights Up The City For The Final Time This Year

Lumiere will take place over three evenings this week in locations around Durham. Audiences will encounter a line-up of international commissions, UK premieres and community projects, ranging from large-scale spectaculars to intimate moments of reflection. The public art producer Artichoke and Durham council announced that this year's Lumiere will be the final edition. Lumiere is now recognised internationally as the UK's light art biennial inspiring light shows and festivals up and down the UK.
