A diver observes Roman ancient amphoras down onto sand on December 4, 2011 off the coast of the Frioul island, southern France. Discovered in 1952 by French undersea explorer Commander Jacques-Yves Cousteau and the Calypso team during the excavations of the "Grand-Congloué" shipwreck, named after its location in the Marseilles basin, 250 amphoras were submerged last summer, forteen meter depth, in the Frioul island site dedicated to diving exploration.
