(Original Caption) Eddie Rickenbaker commanded another record-breaking and trailblazing airplane flight when he brought the Florida Flyer Douglas transport plane from New Orleans, on the first leg of a dawn to dusk flight to Newark and return, to land at Newark Airport in the remarkable time of 7 hours, 3 minutes (unofficial).
