Basketball Player Oscar Robertson During College Game

(Original Caption) Even getting the ball pushed in his face doesn't stop Cincinnati's dynamic Oscar Robertson from setting another record here, Feb. 8. Robertson, shown as North Texas State's Tom Grissom attempts to take the ball away from him, ran up a total or 62 points, leading his teammates to a 123-74 win over the Denton, Texas, team. The total ballooned Robertson's all-time major college point record to 2,662 and marked the biggest single night of his career. Oscar also smashed the old Cincinnati Field House mark of 50 points in one game and broke Bob Kurland's 14-year-old Missouri Valley Conference record of 58 points.
