Ford will take his basic training at Fort Monmouth, after which he'll be assigned to a Signal Corps Organization for the remainder of his thirteen weeks in specialized Signal Corps Training. The 22-year-old hurler found himself 10 pounds above normal pitching weight, but siad "Basic training will take that off in no time."
