(Original Caption) Gasoline hungry motorists caused traffic jams & near chaos at service stations still selling gasoline.Cars in the foreground & lines up down the street are waiting to get to the pump area of the station at the left front.Workers at the station next to it hustled to keep up with the steady flow of desperate customers. Station operators have attempted to conserve dwindling fuel supplies by closing early.About 800 stations were reported completely out of gas & more are expected to shut down before the weekend.
