INDIAN WELLS, UNITED STATES: US Golfer Casey Martin drives off the 13th tee 19 January, 2000, while competing in the opening round of the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic at the Indian Wells Country Club in Indian Wells, California. Martin, who has a debilitating leg condition, successfully sued the PGA tour in 1998 to be allowed to use a golf cart during competition. The PGA is appealing the decision.
