Unfold: Houston Revealed" is an atlas of 9 surprising, original Houston-specific maps created by creative writing, art and graphics students at UH. One of the maps depicts 13 high-rise buildings in the medical center - a place devoted to science - that do not contain a 13th floor (bad luck--nothing to do with science). Another, a graphic depiction of Candyland murder sites in the Heights. Another pairs pothole sites around Lakewood Church (a tax exempt enterprise) with words from Joel Osteen, scripture and city documents describing floods, salvation, the city's proposed budget for road repairs, and much more.
