India - Nuclear Attack Simulation

India conducted its first ever war game where a simulation drill of a fictitious nuclear, biological, chemical (NBC) strike by an enemy, and decontamination carried out using modern equipment, Kamalpur village, Punjab, India. Eight years after India conducted its nuclear tests it is now that the country is "adequately" prepared to handle a NBC strike against it, a senior Army officer said. India's neighbors Pakistan and China have nuclear weapons capabilities. "NBC preparedness is adequate and we are confident of performing at the desired level," said Brigadier Rajan Bakshi, commander of 98 Armored Brigade and head of the NBC Decontamination. | Location: Kamalpur Village, Punjab, India.
