Karnak Temple
Karnak Temple is the largest religious complex in ancient Egypt, located on the east bank of the Nile in Luxor. It is dedicated to Amun-Ra, along with Mut and Khonsu, and features the Great Hypostyle Hall with 134 massive columns, towering obelisks, and intricate hieroglyphic inscriptions depicting religious rituals and royal victories. Built and expanded over more than 2,000 years, Karnak stands as a testament to the architectural and spiritual evolution of ancient Egyptian civilization in Luxor, Egypt, on February 3, 2025.
