Satchel Paige Talking With Boys
Leroy "Satchel" Paige, relief pitcher for the Miami Marlins of the International League, gives baseball pointers to two young boys dressed in Marlins' uniforms. Paige was a star pitcher in the Negro Leagues and became the first African American pitcher in the American League, for the Cleveland Indians, in 1948. Miami, Florida, August 7, 1957.
