A man passes by the ruins of the 1991-1995 Serbo-Croatian war in the central Croatian town of Dvor, some 150 kilometers from capital Zagreb on January 18, 2012. Croatian Serbs, whose rights were among key criteria for Zagreb's EU bid, hope that its entry in the bloc, on which the country votes in a referendum on January 21, could further affirm their minority. The region of Dvor, some 120 kilometers (78 miles) southeast of Zagreb, on the Una river marking the border with Bosnia, was captured by Serbs during the war.
