Hell's Angels Funeral in New York
(Original Caption) 3/11/1971-New York, New York- Sporting their long hair and dirty denim jackets, members of the Hell's Angels motorcycle gang gather behind the hearse on the Lower East Side to wish a final farewell to a comrade slain during a pitched battle with another gang in Cleveland. The dead man, Jeffrey "Groover" Coffrey, was from Hartford, CN. Eight would-be mourners were forced to miss the ceremony for they were seized by police March 10th on charges arising from an alleged rape. BPA2 # 3156
