National Portrait Gallery, London
LONDON, ENGLAND - SEPTEMBER 29, 2017: A nineteenth century portrait of Daniel Lambert (1770-1809) attributed to Benjamin Marshall is on display at the National Portrait Gallery in London, England. Lambert was the keeper of Leicester gaol until its closure in 1805. The following year, he turned his unexplained weight gain to profit in London by exhibiting himself for a fee as a natural curiosity. When he died at age 39 he weighed more than 52 stones and was the heaviest person on record until the twentieth century. (Photo by Robert Alexander/Getty Images)
