Life In Myanmar: Border Town of Tachilek

Tachilek (or Burma) sits on the Thai-Burmese border in Shan State and is known to be the crossing point for the majority of amphetamine pills into Thailand. The drugs are reportedly manufactured and distributed by various armed ceasefire groups in Shan State. The Thai- Burma border town is a busy trading town for gems full of cheap goods, plus many varieties of copies from China.
