Feller threw to Boudreu in an attempt to catch Masi napping at second. The umpire ruled him safe and refused to reverse him-self despite the squrk of manager Boudreu, pictured here, umpire Stewart's decision took on a greater importance when Masi scored on a single a few minutes later with what poved to be the winning run.
