Laughter Therapy For Covid-19 ICU Staff

On 14 March 2020 the Spanish government announced a State of Alarm and mandatory home confinement to deal with the epidemic of the new Covid-19 virus. After a year of pandemic the coronavirus has infected more than 2,740,000 and has officially killed nearly 60,000 people in Spain. This week has seen the lowest number of coronavirus infections in Spain since the summer, with less than 35,000 cases per week, the lowest in the last seven months. The Covid-19 pandemic has hit the nursing workforce at a time when hospital staff were already experiencing widespread stress, mental health problems, and burnout due to factors such as low pay, poor life-work balance and work place risks.
