(Original Caption) 6/6/1936-Short Hills, NJ- "Lighthorse Harry" Cooper of Chicago pictured as he played from the fairway at the second hole in the final round of the National Open Golf Championship at Baltusrol. Cooper electrified the gallery by going out over the first nine holes in 35 bringing his total 63 holes to 246 to break the all-time record for that distance.
