New wheat starch factory
So-called tempering cells for wheat can be seen in the new Suedzucker AG wheat starch factory in Zeitz, Germany, 23 March 2016. The facility has been operating during a multi-week test phase. Starting in summer, the 125-million-euro factory will begin full production. 100 new jobs were created to produce around 140,000 tons of glucose syrup from 300,000 tons of wheat.
