Steve Leo, 34, and Sabrina John, 32, are each being held bail, said Deputy Johnie Jones of the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau. The pair, who were arrested late last month, are charged with three counts of robbery and two counts of attempted robbery stemming from alleged crimes committed between Aug. 30 and Oct. 23 in Los Angeles and Orange counties. Jones alleged the suspects wore green clothing displaying sheriff's department logos, identified themselves as sheriff's deputies or police officers, and subjected the victims to "pat–down" searches. The suspects then took the victims' wallets and/or cash and told them to keep walking, Jones said. The pair were arrested in the city of Los Angeles when a Los Angeles Police Department detective from the Rampart Division saw them detaining several people, Jones said. "It appears that some of these locations where the suspects hit (were) in areas where day laborers would work," sheriff's Detective Dan Jaramillo said at a news conference. (Photo by Allen J.
