The Work Of Prince Harry's Charity Sentebale
MASERU, LESOTHO - JULY 10: A teacher asks questions to a class of orphans during a lesson at the Reitutsire orphanage on July 10, 2008 in Maseru, Lesotho. The Reitutsire orphanage is a key project supported by the charity Sentebale. Sister Giselle runs an orphanage of 122 children on the outskirts of the capital of Lesotho. Sentebale provides scholarships for the children and funds teachers in a project where children and adults work towards a sustainable future with a bakery and farming equipment which means food can be manfactured on site and sold or comsumed by the orphans. Sentebale was founded by Prince Seeiso from the Lesotho Royal family and Prince Harry from the British Royal family in response to the plight of the neediest of Lesotho's people; its orphans and vulnerable children. Lesotho is a country in desperate need of help, many of the adults have been wiped out by HIV/AIDS leaving a generation of over 380,000 orphans struggling to fend for themselves. The plight of the children in Lesotho is a priority for Prince Harry and his recent trip to the region has highlighted to the world the problems. (Photo by Chris Jackson/Getty Images)
