MADRID, SPAIN: The chairwoman of the Spanish bank Banesto, Ana Patricia Botin, presents 2004 results in Madrid 13 January 2005. Banco Espanol de Credito SA has no plans to change its existing shareholder remuneration policy this year, Botin said. Speaking to reporters at a presentation of the bank's full-year results, Botin said: "We will continue with our existing remuneration policy" of rewarding shareholders with capital repayments rather than dividends "at least for this year."
