Woman Using Giant Telephone
(Original Caption) Los Angeles, Ca: The largest automatic dialing telephone instrument ever built is being shown here by a Southern California phone company which had it built for demonstating purposes. On it the familiar dial is more than two feet in diameter, the receiver is as long as one's arm and the transmitter as big as an ordinary loudspeaker. The whole instrument stands four feet high, almost as tall as the pretty telephone company employee, Miss Evelyn Pulliam, who is demonstrating it. Undated photograph.
