TORONTO, ON - DECEMBER 4: The National Day of Remembrance and Action On Violence Against Women, which happens Dec. 6th, was marked early at The SuunyBrook and Women's College Campuses in Toronto on Thursday. Toronto Police Chief Julian Fantino was among the guests who placed roses for each of the victims of the 1989 Montreal massacre. the poem "our Daughters, Ourselves" written by Stevie Cameron, was read aloud, and candles were lit for a minutes silence.
