Kelabit and Penan in Sarawak

Once covered with pristine primary forest the area, which is home to a number of ethnic groups, most notably the Kelabit and Penan, has been devastated by more than two decades of government approved logging and is now under threat from a series of dam projects that will flood large areas of forest, destroying fragile and unique ecosystems and forcing local tribes from their ancestral homelands.
