Bill Mosienko Holding Pucks and Hockey Stick
(Original Caption) Wing's Bill Mosienko of the Chicago Black Hawks holds up three pucks here, signifying the new National Hockey League record he made on March 23, 1952, by scoring three goals in 21 seconds, during the game with the Rangers at Madison Square Garden. His three fast goals paced a five-goal third-period rally that gave the Hawks a 7-6 victory over the teams. The previous mark, set in 1938 by Carl Liscombe of the Red Wings, was one minute and four seconds.
