Guarulhos (Brazil), June 22, 2018 - First flew to Guarulhos - São Paulo International Airport, the first A330neo to be delivered to the launch customer of the new A330neo family of aircraft. Neo stands for New Engine Option and claims to be the second and the newest version of the A330. This new airplane comes with the innovation of the aeronautical industry that reduces the fuel consumption making it more efficient to the operators. The A330neo flight also became a milestone for the aviation industry as it was the first transoceanic flight of this model to complete the A330neo certification test flight marathon with EASA and FAA aviation regulators. After this test this aircraft will be delivered to the operator, and will also be the first to be operating commercially.
