Gulls on the monuments of the Vittorio Emanuele II bridge - stock photo

Unlike the neighbouring bridge, which is adorned with individual statues of angels, the Ponte Vittorio Emanuele II has less statues, but they are groups of statues that adorn the bridge, and larger. They not only attract the attention of passers by, but of birds too, as the statues command a great view over the Tiber river, and the pedestrians, who might just drop something of interest to them.
