Panda carrying Idol of Lord Jagannath, Balbhadra, Subhadra to the chariot during Jagganath Ratha Yatra by swinging front and back called as Pahandi nobody execpt panda's are allowed to come closer to the Idols and chariot who look after the temple and god's. Balabhadra chariot is called Taladhwaja followed by Subhadra's chariot Devadalana and final one Lord Jagannath chariot Nandigosha. After deities reachs on the chariot Gajapati king of Puri Singha Deva performs ritual who is carried in traditional Silver palanquin making its way through lacs of devotees greeting, after the ritual chariots are pulled with ropes attached by Lacs of devotees to Gundicha temple which is 3kml. The chariots halts as the day ends and continue its journey next day and rest for 9days after which they return back to Jagannath temple in return Car Festival in same manner and rituals take place on 10th and 11th day and deities are taken inside temple on 12th in traditional manner.
