The Fraele Valley is a small world suspended, place a plateau at an altitude of 1930m Through a comfortable winding road that leads from Bormio to Livigno you reach the ancient Towers called Fraele Towers visible through the whole road up from Bormio. After crossing Fraele towers, you can reach the two artificial lakes: the Cancano dam and the reservoir San Giacomo. From the pass of Val Fraele, though, you can get off by exploiting the Val del Gallo, the lake and the plain of Livigno, to move from Swiss territory here
