Olympic Torch Relay - Coca Cola vehicle and flag-bearers - stock photo

Beckenham, England - July 23, 2012: Part of a large crowd of people lining the streets of Beckenham (South East London) in Kent, to watch the arrival of the Olympic Torch Relay. The torch was preceded by sponsors vehicles and much flag-waving - this particular sponsor was Coca Cola. The Olympic Torch is traditionally lit from the rays of the sun at the Temple of Hera in Olympia, Greece, before being handed over to representatives of the next host city of the Olympic Games, which are held every four years. The torch then travels to the new host country and is transferred from one torch bearer to another before ending its journey at the Olympic Stadium. The cauldron is lit from the torch during the opening ceremony and extinguished once the Games have ended. (Very strong sunshine. Motion blur on people.)
