On a clear day from Las Canteras Beach in Las Palmas we can see the shape of Tenerife island (some 77 miles away) with Spanish highest peak "Volcano Teide". The little volcano on the left of the image is the "Atalaya" or "Monta��a de Galdar" on Gran Canaria. Despite it being much closer, the distance between both of them makes them look very alike not only i shape but also in height.
