At the entrance of the town there are more than 350 looms that are currently operating and that are used by more than 500 weavers and apprentices to which we must add the work of expert spinners who are responsible for embroidering and sewing the fabrics with the aim to recreate authentic works of art. The artisans perform their work at the sight of curious, tourists and managers who monitor the smooth running of the work ... men and children handle the immutable rudimentary looms before our scrutinizing and curious looks, while, women, oblivious to the flashes of the cameras , they chat animatedly between them and they give life to dreamy tablecloths, shirts, dresses and funny cloth dolls.
