Both artists has mostly designed the Master’s House by themself. The two artists lived in this building in the 1920s. The Bauhaus is regarded as a key work of European modernism. The art and architecture school founded by Walter Gropius will be 100 years old in 2019. Since 1996 the Bauhaus Dessau is a part of the Unesco World Heritage Site.
