Police Investigate Fatal Shooting Of 13-Year-Old Boy In Brooklyn New York

Thursday evening, February 29, 2024, at approximately 10:40 PM, police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in the vicinity of Brooklyn Avenue and St. Marks Avenue, within the confines of the 77th Precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed a 13-year-old male who sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the body. EMS responded and transported the male to NYC Health+Hospitals/Kings County where he was subsequently pronounced deceased. There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
