(Part 1 of 3) - For the inquiry this is a significant development / We've been working on this line for a couple of years / he came into the inquiring in 2017 / As a result info came into the team, we worked around that / And identified this male / This male, I will describe him / German national, in prison White, 6 ft, 43 now at the time he was 30 / He could've looked between 25 and 32 / - It's hard to say we know what he looked like at the time / I want them to understand a German male linked to the two vehicles / - I understand why people would ask to name him / We've made the decisions not to / This is normal others may make a different choice / I don't want everyone to focus on the names rather then the info and evidence - My appeal is anyone in the area or days and weeks after / We know this male, he's a suspect and had two vehicles / One is a VW T3 Model camper van / It was old and white upper body and yellow lower body / This was in the area in the days leading up to it / If anyone can place it in the area / Did they see a German male with this / - We're trying to understand what he used it for / He used it to live in / Including the week before / He would move around the area using the van as his base - We are keeping an open mind / I've considered it / I don't have info at the moment and I have to keep and open mind - It's in German police custody / I can't answer that, due to operational matters / - It's a distinctive vehicle, I hope someone who would recognise it
