Night Drone Video of Wisconsin State Capitol - Madison, Wisconsin - 4K stock video

This nighttime drone clip features the Wisconsin State Capitol in Madison. The building is the seat of state government and the tallest building in the city. Completed in 1917, it is famous for featuring the world's only granite dome and is designated as a National Historic Landmark. Designed by George B. Post & Sons in the Beaux-Arts style, the building features a cruciform layout representing the state's three branches of government: the Legislature, Supreme Court, and Office of the Governor. Reaching 284.5 feet from the ground to the top of the gilded bronze "Wisconsin" statue, the dome is the largest in the U.S. by volume. The interior showcases 43 varieties of imported and domestic stone (including marble from Greece, Algeria, and Italy) along with glass mosaics and murals.
