Johnson’s Great Society campaign: the Head Start Program/The project began as a summer program to help meet the needs of children from low-income families/In addition to educational needs, Head Start sought to assist with health concerns including hygiene, nutrition, and preventative medical care/This clip shows children in the program reading as a group and creatively telling a new version of The Story of the Three Bears.
