South Sudan still traumatised from violent civil war, PART THREE

VOICED: A special report now on the world's youngest nation - South Sudan - gaining Independence less than a decade ago, following a violent civil war.And it is the scars from that conflict which torment many young people there. Sky News was given special access to former child soldiers - as well as many people raped during the fighting. Currently - South Sudan is poverty stricken, and there are concerns that if conditions don't improve - war will return. And so will the estimated 19-thousand child soldiers - still trapped in the bush - unable to escape the army. Sky’s Special Correspondent Alex Crawford, cameraman Kevin Sheppard and producer Kenny Stewart travelled to Yambio where thousands of children were forced to join militia from both sides.
