Time Lapse, Tomb of Samuel National Park, the traditional burial site of the biblical Hebrew prophet Samuel

Nebi Samuel National Park, about 14,000 acres in size, extends over the slopes of Mt. Samuel, which rises to a height of 885 meters (about 2,900 feet) above sea level. Its height is emphasized by the Soreq Stream, which borders Mt. Samuel on the east, and by the stream’s tributaries to the north. The mountain commands a view of the access road from the town of Givat Ze’ev to Jerusalem (road 436), which runs along the ancient route from Bet Horon to Jerusalem.
